Lady Sangeet
Burgundy House, 2000 Burgundy St - Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6 – 10PM
Attire: Smart casual. If you want to wear more traditional Indian attire, this would be a good night to do so!
The Ladies Sangeet will kick off the party weekend with Indian Music & Dancing. Although this traditional party used to be Ladies-only, modern Sangeets now include Men & Women. The Burgundy House is a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the Ace Hotel in the Historic Marigny Neighborhood.
We encourage guests to take the famous New Orleans Street Car to the venue to enjoy the views of the French Quarter. The nearest Street Car stop for a direct ride to the venue is 3 blocks from the Ace Hotel on Canal St (St. Charles at Poydras stop.) Go towards and get off at St. Claude at Elysian Fields and the Burgundy House is 3 block walk away. Fares on the Street Car can be paid on board with exact change of $1.25 or by downloading the RTAMobile App for pre-paid fares.
